Christopher Armentrout, LCSW, obtained his Master’s degree in Social Work from Aurora University. He has worked as a Clinical Social Worker in private practice and at Nationwide Children's Hospital providing individual and family counseling services for multiple mental health issues. Before obtaining his graduate degree he worked in community mental health in South Bend providing skills training and case management services to adults experiencing daily life stressors due to mental illness and other social factors. His current clinical focus are adolescents and young adults experiencing depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, and other mood and anxiety based disorders. Primarily relying on mindfulness and relationally focused treatment models, Christopher works with clients to identify ineffective or unhelpful patterns in their lives and establish more workable solutions helping guide them towards their personal goals, values, and a life of wellbeing. Christopher is currently accepting new referrals for adolescents, young adults, and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, personal relationships, and behavioral problems.
